It is more than enough , your words touch my heart so deeply, I can never feel your pain but you gave me a taste of it . Keep on writing and sharing so the life’s that are lost live on through you and are never forgotten to the world .

I do not know if I understood everything you were trying to convey, for I have never experienced anything remotely like what you did, but rest assured that you conveyed a lot and that it was crystal clear.

Not to mention powerful. I'll be including this in my next little news summary for sure.

Beautiful words and beautiful images. We who live safely or under the illusion of safety, may never understand but it is sacred work to try to bring the words and images to us nonetheless.

The artwork is very beautiful as well as terrible, as are your well-conveyed reflections. I feel I cannot even imagine.

I feel haunted even by knowing this is happening. I cannot fathom the precarious state of one who has personally experienced this surreal horror. But I appreciate your column, very much.

As far as your body being different from the tension, a book I read that impressed me was The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma by Bessel van der Kolk M.D.

Be careful with this book! There is a lot of controversy about the authors claims, and that he does not have enough scientific evidence to support his very unusual unsupported stance of supporting the rapists' trauma and child murderers' trauma over the victims- the child or who was rapped. He seems to empathize with those who committed the war crimes and say veterans' PTSD is more significant than a non veterans' PTSD and trauma. So read cautiously and do not take to heart. research before buying this book. what i see could add to the trauma of those who have lived through the horrors of israeli oppression and genocide.
